Tiverton 1-0 Sholing
Boatmen were narrowly defeated on the last game of the season by a heavily deflected shot, but finished a creditable 15th place in our first ever season at this level. A huge effort in the last month saw us get the results we needed in an incredibly tight relegation battle that went down to the wire. However, we were only in the relegation places for 3 days this season and deserved to keep our place in this tough division. Onwards and upwards for the Sholing, on and off the pitch !
Sholing 3-0 Swindon Supermarine
Boatmen took a massive step towards safety with a fantastic win over Supermarine. An outstanding performance saw Sholing comfortably take the 3 points to move up to 14th. We were set on our way with a worldly of 25 yard freekick by Charlie Davis and went on to dominate the entire first half. We continued to play great football after the break and after Hesketh got fouled in the box, Dan Mason stroked home the penalty. His goalscoring partner Lee Wort then won the ball off a defender before drilling into the far corner for a classic Worty finish. The maths mean we are not safe yet, but will know better our situation after midweek games by others below us before our final game at Tiverton on Saturday - Match Report
Summer Ball

Sholing 2-2 Hendon
With an outfielder playing in goal for 60 minutes, the Boatmen worked their socks off to get a point and probably deserved all three. Charlie Searle was brought in as an emergency keeper with all our other keeper's injured. Then incredibly, Charlie gets an injury on the half hour and George Milner-Smith went in goal. Hendon took the lead, but Lee Wort quickly fired in an equaliser. A softly awarded freekick on the edge of our box was curled in for the visitors to be in front at half time. Second half, Sholing showed great heart and no little skill to pin Hendon back for long periods and a Stedman freekick was headed home by Brad Targett. We went close several times, but also had to thank George in added time for making a good save - Match Report
Hanwell Town 2-3 Sholing
Boatmen got a huge win to lift ourselves out of the relegation zone at the expense of the home side. Brad Targett opened the scoring with a long range shot that was deflected in. Then Billy Stedman crossed for Lee Wort to power in a header for us to be two up at the break. Hanwell got a goal back 5 mins into the second half, but on 87 mins, Charlie Davis crossed into the box for Alex MacAllister to slide in and score. Nail biting added time saw Hanwell score again, but we hung on for the big 3 points.
