Walton & Hersham 1-0 Sholing

Playing our 4th game in 7 days, the Boatmen deserved something from an even match, but were undone by a 2nd half strike.  Worty had a couple of first half chances, but both defences were on top until the 77 min when a shot from distance by the home team found the bottom corner

Hanwell Town 2-3 Sholing

Boatmen got a huge win to lift ourselves out of the relegation zone at the expense of the home side.  Brad Targett opened the scoring with a long range shot that was deflected in.  Then Billy Stedman crossed for Lee Wort to power in a header for us to be two up at the break.  Hanwell got a goal back 5 mins into the second half, but on 87 mins, Charlie Davis crossed into the box for Alex MacAllister to slide in and score.  Nail biting added time saw Hanwell score again, but we hung on for the big 3 points.

Sholing 1-2 Dorchester Town

A better second half performance wasn't enough as we slipped to a narrow defeat.  A fortunate opening goal by the visitors was followed up by a worldy of a 30 yard shot to give Dorchester a comfortable lead at half time.  We had a goal disallowed just after the restart for a debatable call, but then Dan Mason smashed in from the edge of the box.  It was all Sholing and we appeared to have equalised, but the goal was ruled out for offside.  A late header was put wide and penalty appeals turned down.

Sholing 2-2 Didcot Town

Boatmen missed a golden opportunity to pull away from the relegation scrap after only drawing with already relegated, Didcot Town.  Poor defending allowed the visitors the opener, but we soon equalised when two Didcot players collided, allowing Brad Targett in behind to chip the keeper.  Then Davis' cross was headed in by Lee Wort to give us the lead at half time.  Straight from the restart, White's attempted clearance hit a Didcot player and looped back into the net.  We couldn't force a winner and will have to play much better in our 6 remaining games.

Bracknell Town 5-1 Sholing

Bracknell put on a display of clinical finishing to give the scoreline a flattering look to the play off chasers.  Sholing dominated the first half, had a shot cleared off the line and a goal disallowed for a tight offside.  However, just before the break, the home side scored out of the blue.  Got worse after the restart when from our corner, Bracknell broke away to double their lead.  They then scored 3 more times with ruthless efficiency and a bit of good fortune.  Dan Mason scored a late penalty. Now makes our home game on Saturday an absolute must win against already relegated, Didcot.  Need you there to support us!

Sholing 1-1 Plymouth Parkway

Boatmen were left frustrated after the visitors got a 92nd minute equaliser in a game we should have put to bed.  First half was all Sholing with Milner-Smith heading against the bar and Wort & D-Dan going close. Debutant keeper, Bert White made a great tip over the bar and we then took the lead when a freekick was nodded across goal by Owen Roundell for Lee Wort to score. Hesketh had two good chances to extend our lead, but in added time a cross was glanced in by Jones to deny us the win - Match Report

Poole Town 0-3 Sholing

Boatmen got back to winning ways with an important 3 points, 3 goals and clean sheet at Poole.  The first half was a nervous affair between two sides low in confidence, but the breakthrough came in added time when debutant Billy Stedman cut the ball back in the box for Jake Hesketh to score his first Sholing goal.  Boatmen looked a different side in the 2nd half, defended well and controlled the game. On 65 mins, a brilliant first time pass by Hesketh released Lee Wort and he arrowed a low shot into the far corner.  Leon Baker somehow headed off our line and in the 94th minute, Alex MacAllister slid the ball into the path of Dan Mason to fire across the keeper.  A massive win and huge confidence booster for the club - Match Report

Sholing 1-3 Harrow Borough

Boatmen find ourselves one place above the relegation zone after defeat by second to bottom, Harrow Borough.  A bright start by Sholing didn't force a goal and we were undone by twice losing possession in midfield for Harrow to score both times. A quick switch to the right saw a shot saved by Gos, but a Harrow player was on hand to tap in the rebound.  The visitors then broke forward at pace and 3 passes later, the ball was in the back of our net.  We were handed a lifeline before half time when a Davis freekick was headed into his own net by a Harrow player.  We were denied a stonewall penalty straight from the restart and things got even worse when Flannigan got a straight red card for a lunge.  Harrow wrapped up the win with a late penalty - Match Report
